and it was amazing, no problem and at a cheap rate

the best deal on airfare?

Its best to try the major travel websites because they usually can negotiate the best deals.

There is a website called Travelbydeals.com. Its search function will automatically search all the big name travels sites with one search box, so you dont have to go to each individual sites.

I believe it does, Travelocity, Orbitz, Kayak, Expedia, Priceline.

Good luck! Have fun!

I will go on vacation in Europe and most likely will have some Euros left at the end of the trip. Would I get a better deal exchanging them to US dollars in Europe, or back home in the US? Please advise, thank you all in advance!

Probably in Europe. The country whose currency you give up will value their money higher.

I’m planning my honeymoon, which is in march of next year, and we’re thinking about paris. I need a good deal on the flights and the room. An all inclusive deal would be great. Anyone have any advice?

While there are package tours to Paris you will do MUCH better on your own.

March is a good time to travel. Airfares are low. (not as low as winter but still reasonable.) I don’t know where you live but I travel to Paris almost every year and live in rural Texas. I have never paid more than $560 RT. If you keep good watch on the major travel booking sites like Travelocity and Orbitz starting 3 months before your desired departure date you should be able to snag a decent ticket price.

I suggest the Hotel St. Andre des Artes at 66 rue St. Andre des Artes. Its simple and funky (no elevator, no minibars, no TV) but clean and very friendly. Mainly its cheap and well located. A double will cost just 86 euros for a double with breakfast included.

If you want to upscale the hotel then the The Hotel Left Bank Saint Germain at 9, rue de l’Ancienne Comédie in the 6th arr. is a good choice.(its just around the corner from the first hotel choice) A description with pictures can be found here: http://www.france-hotel-guide.com/h75006left_bank.htm

It will run 130-150 euros or so a night. (still not bad by Paris standards).

whats the cheapest month to fly from new york city to these countries? i was thinking to travel in may 08

You can also sign up there for sale alerts on these routes.
